DESIGN CONCEPT:
Creating a piece of architecture that challenges the physical boundaries created by the built environment. Blurring the relationship between interior and exterior areas to establish a boundaryless space, which is fluid and dynamic. Integral to challenging the physical boundaries, are the mediums of materiality and space. These simultaneously contrast and complement each other enabling the redefining of a space. The entrance to the main building is guided through an abundance of planting and large timber columns, in order to dematerialize enclosures, blurring the line between where the public and private experience meet.
